What is Specialty Coffee?

Specialty coffee is coffee that is traceable to its origin and meets strict quality standards from harvest to brew. It involves several key players in the process, including the Farmer, who handpicks and processes the beans, the Green Coffee Buyer, who ensures each batch meets specialty criteria, the Roaster, who roasts the beans to precise standards for a delicious cup, and the Barista, who extracts maximum flavor through brewing methods. The final step is for the consumer to judge the hard work put into creating specialty coffee. Learn more about Our Process.
